题 目:重离子加速器的科学意义与社会应用

主讲人简介:

夏佳文,加速器技术及物理的专家,中国工程院院士,中国科学院近代物理研究所副所长,兰州重离子加速器国家实验室副主任。中国粒子加速器学会理事长,广东核学会理事长。长期从事重离子加速器物理及工程工作,曾任国家“九五”重大科学工程“兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环 HIRFL-CSR ”总工程师,首台国产重离子癌症肿瘤治疗专用装置总工程师。2013年当选中国工程院院士,2016年作为高层次人才引进惠州,并特聘为惠州学院教授,担任惠州离子科学研究中心首席科学家,参与领导在惠州布局的两个国家重大科技基础设施(“强流重离子加速器”和“加速器驱动嬗变研究装置”)的建设。

获2007 年日本高能加速器科学基金会西川奖,2009 年中国科学院杰出科技成就奖,2009 年何梁何利物理学奖,2012 年国家科技进步二等奖。

Brief Introduction of Professor XIA JIA-WEN

XIA JIA-WEN, an expert in the Accelerator Technology and Accelerator Physics. He is Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, the deputy director of Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the deputy director of Lanzhou Heavy Ion Accelerator National Laboratory. He is the Chairman of China Particle Accelerator Association and the Chairman of Guangdong Nuclear Association. He has dedicated in the study of heavy ion accelerator physics and engineering for a long time. He is the chief engineer of Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou and Cooling Storage Ring HIRFL-CSR, the national "Ninth Five-Year Plan" major scientific project, and the first Chief Engineer of China-made special equipment for heavy ion cancer treatment. In 2013, he was elected as Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. In 2016, he was appointed as the professor of Huizhou College and the chief scientist of Huizhou Ion Science Research Center. He is participating in the construction of two major national scientific and technological infrastructures (High Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility, HIRF and China Initiative Accelerator Driven System,CIADS) .

He has won the following honors: the Nishikawa Award of the Japan High Energy Accelerator Science Foundation in 2007, the Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009, the He Liang He li Physics Award in 2009, and the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress in 2012.
